Marie Berry

Dr. Marie Berry is the Director of the Sié Chéou-Kang Center for International Security and Diplomacy and an Associate Professor at the Josef Korbel School at the University of Denver. She is also the co-founder and convener of the Inclusive Global Leadership Initiative (IGLI), an effort to elevate and amplify the work that women activists are doing at the grassroots to advance peace, justice, and human rights across the world. Her award-winning book, War, Women, and Power: From Violence to Mobilization in Rwanda and Bosnia-Herzegovina (Cambridge University Press 2018), examined the impact of mass violence on women’s political mobilization in Rwanda and Bosnia. Together with Dr. Milli Lake (LSE), she runs the Women’s Rights After War Project.  She is a 2021 recipient of a prestigious National Science Foundation CAREER Award.

Cony Oviedo González

Cony Oviedo González is a feminist, communicator, journalist, and grassroots educator. She holds a degree in Communication Sciences and a postgraduate degree in Latin American Studies, specializing in Gender and Human Rights at Juiz de Fora Federal University. She is a Master's student in Territorial Development at UNESP-ENFF (Brazil). Cony works as a journalist for Agencia Presentes (Argentina) and is an activist with Conamuri, CLOC-La Vía Campesina, and the World March of Women.


 Cony Oviedo González es feminista, comunicadora, periodista y educadora popular. Tiene una Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Comunicación y un Postgrado en Estudios Latinoamericanos, especializada en Género y Derechos Humanos por la Universidad Federal Juiz de Fora. Cursa una Maestría en Desarrollo Territorial y Geografía en UNESP-ENFF (Brasil). Es periodista en Agencia Presentes (Argentina) y militante de Conamuri, CLOC-La Vía Campesina y la Marcha Mundial de Mujeres.

Estefanía Cubillos Nova

Estefanía Cubillos Nova is a journalist with a master's degree in creative writing, currently working as a coordinator for the Collective of Latin American Women with Disabilities for Human Rights. She loves traveling, spending time with her family, including her cat, and thinking about self-care alternatives as a blind activist.


Estefanía Cubillos Nova es periodista con una maestría en escritura creativa. Actualmente actualidad trabaja como coordindoraa La Colectiva de Latinoamericanas con Discapacidades por los Derechos Humanos. Estefanía ama viajar, pasar tiempo con su familia, incluyendo su gato, y pensar en alternativas de autocuidado como activista ciega.
